Chapter6
August 27th
Today I decided to peep in the window to see if we could get a look at Boo Radley with Dill at night. I asked Scout if she want to go with me. If she isn’t to go with me, I just want to her to keep her flopping mouth shut. The reason why I choose tonight is that nobody can see us, because Atticus is to be quite deep in a book. And even if we are killed by Boo, I am to lose a term instead of holiday. And it was easier to see inside a dark house in the dark. Thus we decided to do it at tonight.
But Scout asked me not to do it again and again. She is getting more like a girl every day. When we get into the back of Radley’s house, we are amazed to find it was not as inviting as the front. I was shocked because of the chickens while we were walking. At first, I saw nothing. But there is a shadow crossing me, which made me put my arms over his head and went rigid. The shadow stopped about a food next to me and then move back across me. I was too scared to continue to see, I jumped off the porch. While we were running away, we heard a sound of a shotgun shattered, which is from the fence by the school yard. And I found that my pants were stick by the fence. Such being the case, the only thing I can do is that running away with my shorts.
Lying on the bed, I am not able to sleep. I am bound to get my pant. If Atticus get the pants, he must know what we do tonight. So as to I am ought to get my pants. Scout asked me not to do that, but Atticus will whip me if he knows that. He has never whipped me since I can remember. I feel like keeping it.
